Who We Are
Mohawk Valley Materials, Inc. (MVM) began as Mohawk Valley Mulch, Inc. in April 2007, providing bulk landscape supply materials to both commercial and residential entities. Today, MVM is a small woman-owned business headquartered in Rome, NY with green-waste recycling and maintenance facilities in Rome, NY and a satellite office in Freeport, FL. In addition to the locations noted, Mohawk has staff members working on-site with our clients nationwide.

MVM provides specialty construction services to government and commercial entities nationwide. Our services include land clearing, excavation, site development, site preparation, vegetation management, trail and road construction and maintenance, erosion control and stabilization, flood protection, right-of-way clearing, woody debris removal, on-site crushing/screening/grinding, fenceline clearing, rock wall construction, concrete reinforcement fabrication, green waste and recycling services, and materials supply.

MVM is a certified Woman-owned Small Business. We are certified by the State of New York as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). We are also certified by the State of Florida as a DBE. Other certifications are in progress.
