Mr. Rutkowski, just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the quality of work being conducted by your team on the ground here at ASA Ft Dix. One example is a trail in TAC 13C that I drove down this afternoon that hadn't been touched as of Monday of this week. Previously, the tree branches rubbed against vehicles and the ride would cause significant bladder distress- today I went down it at 40mph; clear, wide, and smooth! Great to Work With

The contractor has been great to work with. USACE team and MVM team both agreed that this was a successful project and a very enjoyable project to work on. The end user, USACE Operations Division is happy with the project. This project was identified as a Mega Project due to the life safety implications. It required multiple additional inspections from other USACE employees. MVM efforts showed a commitment to providing a quality project and can be counted on to be a good partner with USACE on future projects.

Extremely Proactive With Government Needs

Mohawk’s management was extremely proactive with government needs and shifted work phases when required … Manager was always in immediate contact with airfield manager to avoid impacts to the base mission. Management offered solutions to unforeseen issues. The government accepted the solutions and progress was never impeded. Furthermore, Mohawk is an outstanding contractor to work with. They understand the concept of "partnership" and work as true teammate with the Navy. Both the field manager and home office provided weekly updates and spreadsheet data to assure the government they were progressing and on time. Quality assurance was also outstanding.

No Safety or QC Issues With Mohawk's Work Performance or Workmanship

Mohawk Valley Materials, Inc. (Mohawk) truly did an exceptional job on this project. Dawson was the prime; however, Mohawk provided the expertise to complete the work on time and within the budget. This project was setup and executed within a very short window; we were required to mobilize within weeks of project award, and then, complete the field work within 3 weeks. Mohawk stepped up and mobilized to the site while project plans were in final review by the client, and we were ready for field work execution immediately upon planning document approval. There were no safety or QC issues with Mohawk's work performance or workmanship. They were a great team sub on this very quick turn project.
